Rules and Regulations


General Rules

1. This association is restricted to mares only. This means that you may not register stallions or geldings within the association.

2. Fillies and mares of any age are eligible for registration in the association, as long as they are still competing. Broodmares are not allowed to be registered. This is a registry for competitive fillies and mares, only.

 

Showing Rules

1. Mares may enter a maximum of:

2. Mares between the ages of zero and three years old may ONLY enter in Young Mare classes and no other section.

3. Mares over the age of three years old may not enter Young Mare classes.

4. Failure to include breed and age division in the correct format will result in disqualification from the show.

5. Mares who are not purebred may not show in any breed halter class other than the crossbred halter class. If a crossbred breed is consistently popular, it will be added to the classlist on a regular basis.

6. OWNERS may enter no more than SIX Mares per class.

 

Grading & Inspection Rules

1. Owners may submit no more than five mares per grading day.

2. Mares that are not graded into any of the four grading inspection results may try again the following grading day.

3. Owners who would like to appeal their grading or try to improve their mares's result must wait three months when they will apply for re-grading. They run the risk of having their mare graded down a level as well, depending on how the mare behaves at the time.
